I checked the task manager and it said that the installer was still going in the background but was using around 90% of the total CPU which I do not understand. I went to reopen it and try again but it said that it was still running, despite me having closed it. It stayed frozen doing nothing for a good 30 minutes and then eventually failed and said it was unable to process the update initiation. It downloaded fine, the installation took a little while, but then when I went to open it, it said it had to initialize an update and it never got past that screen. I went to download the Epic Games Launcher. The installation was a bit lengthy but eventually I got everything set up. I allocated 4gb for the memory (I have 8gb total RAM). I chose "Virtual Disk" as the drive type (the original tutorial I found said I needed to chose Hard Disk since that is what it said Windows uses but the other tutorials I found all said Virtual Disk). I followed instructions I found online and began setting up the virtual machine without any problems. I downloaded and installed VirtualBox from the Oracle website, as well as a 64bit Windows 10.
